Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a dependable and friendly Driver to join the team. If you enjoy being on the road, take pride in getting people where they need to be safely, and can keep your cool when schedules get busy, you could be a great fit for the role. The Driver will support the hotel’s daily transportation needs while providing courteous and professional service to guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests, staff, and hotel items safely to approved destinations.
• Carry out pick-up and drop-off duties according to schedules.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, presentable, and roadworthy.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow traffic laws, hotel procedures, and safe driving practices.
• Assist guests with luggage when required.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate delays, route changes, or transportation issues to the appropriate team.
• Represent the hotel with a polite and professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Previous experience as a professional or hotel driver is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local roads and common routes.
• Strong understanding of road safety and defensive driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Neat appearance and courteous attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an added advantage.
