Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Driver to join our hotel team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent service while ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Safely transport hotel guests, staff, and approved visitors to designated destinations.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, presentable, and ready for use at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and hotel transportation policies.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage when required.
- Plan efficient travel routes to minimise delays and ensure timely arrivals.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly, respectful service to all passengers.
- Respond promptly to transportation requests and schedule changes.
- Support other operational duties when transportation services are not required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous professional driving experience, preferably in a hotel or customer-focused environment.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
- Physically capable of assisting with guest luggage when necessary.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering outstanding service.
