Job Description

A welcoming and attentive Doorkeeper is needed to be the first point of contact at a busy hotel. This role is all about presence, politeness, and making guests feel instantly valued the moment they arrive. You will help set the tone for a warm and seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Open and close doors for arriving and departing guests
• Assist guests with entry and exit, especially those with luggage or mobility needs
• Monitor the entrance area to ensure safety, order, and smooth flow of traffic
• Provide basic directions or guidance within the hotel when needed
• Support concierge or front desk staff during peak hours
• Maintain a neat and presentable entrance area at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, security, or customer-facing roles is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-groomed, presentable, and professional appearance
• Ability to stay alert and attentive for long periods
• Polite demeanor with a strong sense of hospitality
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended hours
• Basic understanding of guest service etiquette
