District Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and experienced District Manager to oversee multiple cafe locations within a growing cafe chain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, operational excellence, and building strong teams across different outlets while ensuring consistent customer experience and brand standards. You will act as the key link between head office and store teams, driving performance, supporting managers, and making sure each cafe runs smoothly, profitably, and with a strong customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple cafe branches
• Support and guide cafe managers to meet sales and service targets
• Ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and brand standards across all locations
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability
• Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
• Conduct regular branch visits and performance evaluations
• Train, coach, and develop store managers and team leads
• Handle operational challenges and resolve escalated issues efficiently
• Work closely with senior leadership on growth and expansion plans

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-unit or area management within hospitality, food service, or retail
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of business operations, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities effectively
• Experience in staff training and performance development
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
• Proficiency in reporting and operational planning tools is an advantage
