District Manager

A growing cafe chain is looking for an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee the performance of multiple cafe locations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Cafe Managers across multiple locations
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business targets
• Ensure consistent customer service standards throughout all cafes
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operations, cleanliness, and compliance
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop management teams
• Analyse financial reports, budgets, labour costs, and inventory performance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
• Ensure company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures are followed
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business initiatives and expansion plans
• Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively
• Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Prepare regular performance reports and recommend action plans where needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple retail, cafe, restaurant, or food service locations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Excellent knowledge of business operations, budgeting, and financial performance
• Experience analysing KPIs and implementing performance improvement strategies
• Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to travel regularly between cafe locations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities
