Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team members.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering to prevent shortages.
• Ensure food and beverage quality consistently meets established standards.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the coffee shop.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and supplies.
• Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a coffee shop, café, or similar food and beverage establishment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of coffee preparation, café operations, and beverage service.
• Experience with inventory control, stock management, and cost control.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyse sales reports and make informed business decisions.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
