There’s something special about coffee at its source, and we’re looking for someone who can bring out its full character. As our Coffee Roaster, you’ll be responsible for transforming raw green beans into rich, aromatic batches that define the experience of our coffee shop. If you have a refined palate, attention to detail, and a genuine respect for the craft, this role might be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Roast green coffee beans to precise profiles that match flavor standards and customer preferences
• Monitor temperature, timing, and airflow throughout the roasting process
• Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate flavor quality and consistency
• Maintain roasting equipment and ensure it is clean and properly calibrated
• Record roast profiles and make adjustments to improve flavor outcomes
• Work closely with the coffee team to develop seasonal blends and signature roasts
• Source feedback from baristas and customers to refine roast quality

Qualifications

• Experience in coffee roasting or hands-on training in specialty coffee production
• Strong understanding of roast levels, bean origins, and flavor development
• Ability to use or learn roasting machines and profiling software
• Excellent sensory skills, especially taste and aroma recognition
• High attention to detail and consistency in production
• Ability to work independently and manage roasting schedules
• Passion for coffee craftsmanship and continuous learning
