Cocktail Server

A Cocktail Server brings energy, attentiveness, and excellent service to the bar, helping guests enjoy a smooth and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. We are looking for someone who can confidently take orders, serve drinks efficiently, communicate clearly with the bar team, and maintain a polished and welcoming presence throughout every shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating or table service when required.
• Present cocktail and beverage menus and explain available options clearly.
• Take accurate drink orders and communicate them promptly to the bar team.
• Serve cocktails, beverages, and accompanying items safely and efficiently.
• Monitor tables regularly and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Check that orders are complete and correctly presented before serving.
• Maintain clean and organised service areas throughout the shift.
• Process guest requests and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with bartenders and other bar staff to maintain smooth service.
• Follow responsible service, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and refer complex issues to a supervisor.
• Support opening, closing, and restocking duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cocktail server, server, waiter, or in a similar bar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of common cocktails and beverage service is an advantage.
• Ability to remain organised and attentive during busy periods.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Good numeracy and order-taking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Training in food and beverage service or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum secondary school education required.
