Cocktail Server

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Cocktail Server to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service while working alongside a dynamic bar team.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive table service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the bar.
• Serve cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, and other beverages in a professional manner.
• Offer recommendations based on guest preferences and promote featured drinks and specials.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and seating areas.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and verify identification where required.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies and preparing service areas.
• Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Server, Server, Waitstaff, or in a similar customer-facing role within a bar, restaurant, or lounge is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high service standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely.
• Responsible alcohol service certification is an advantage where applicable.
