Cocktail Server

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit.
• Present menus, explain cocktail selections, and recommend beverages and bar snacks.
• Accurately take food and drink orders and communicate them promptly to the bar and kitchen teams.
• Serve cocktails, beverages, and food while maintaining presentation standards.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Keep tables clean, organized, and ready for incoming guests.
• Monitor guest needs and maintain a high standard of customer care during busy periods.
• Follow responsible beverage service practices and verify age when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
• Collaborate with bartenders and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Server, Food and Beverage Server, or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and preparing bills.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
