Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Chocolatier to join our café team. This role is perfect for someone who sees chocolate as more than an ingredient, but as a craft, a story, and an experience. You will be responsible for designing, producing, and presenting handcrafted chocolate creations that delight our customers and elevate our dessert offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Create a variety of artisanal chocolates, truffles, pralines, and seasonal specials
  • Develop new chocolate recipes that align with the café’s brand and customer preferences
  • Temper, mold, and decorate chocolate with precision and consistency
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization
  • Manage ingredient sourcing and monitor stock levels for chocolate and related supplies
  • Present finished products in an appealing, retail-ready style
  • Collaborate with pastry and café teams on dessert menus and promotions
  • Ensure quality control for every product leaving the kitchen

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or in a similar confectionery role
  • Strong understanding of chocolate tempering, molding, and decoration techniques
  • Creativity in flavour pairing and product presentation
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
  • Attention to detail with strong artistic and manual skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
  • Formal culinary or pastry training is an advantage but not mandatory for highly skilled artisans
