Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted chocolates, truffles, pralines, bars, and other chocolate confections.
• Develop seasonal chocolate products and signature menu offerings.
• Temper chocolate using proper techniques to achieve consistent quality and finish.
• Decorate desserts and pastries with chocolate garnishes and artistic designs.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and maintain inventory of chocolate-making supplies.
• Follow recipes while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe workstation at all times.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and cafe team to introduce new products and promotions.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before serving or display.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or in a similar chocolate production role.
• Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, moulding, enrobing, and decorative techniques.
• Creativity and attention to detail with excellent presentation skills.
• Familiarity with confectionery equipment and chocolate production processes.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining consistent product quality.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• A professional attitude with a passion for creating exceptional chocolate products.
