Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our restaurant team. This role is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, and supporting smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will bring creativity, discipline, and strong technical ability to their assigned section while working closely with the wider kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Take ownership of an assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Assist with menu preparation, ingredient selection, and new dish development.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to senior kitchen staff.
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
• Support junior kitchen team members through guidance and training.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while meeting restaurant standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to manage an assigned section with confidence and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to remain organised and focused in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Creative approach to food preparation with a commitment to quality.
