An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Catering Manager to lead catering operations within a busy restaurant. We are looking for a proactive professional who can oversee catering services, coordinate events, maintain exceptional food quality standards, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and oversee all catering operations for restaurant events and external functions.
• Coordinate food preparation, delivery schedules, and event logistics.
• Lead, train, and motivate catering and service teams to maintain high performance.
• Develop catering packages and menus in collaboration with the kitchen team.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control catering costs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure successful event execution.
• Prepare staffing schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Track catering performance, prepare reports, and recommend operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering operations within a restaurant, catering company, or food service environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and event coordination skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and cost control.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and catering or restaurant management software is an advantage.
