Catering Manager

Our restaurant is looking for an organised, energetic, and people-focused Catering Manager to lead our catering operations and ensure every event, order, and service runs smoothly. Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate catering services, private events, and large food orders.
• Manage catering schedules, bookings, menus, staffing, and service logistics.
• Lead and motivate catering staff to deliver excellent service.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and timely preparation.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable catering solutions.
• Monitor catering budgets, costs, stock levels, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and restaurant standards are consistently maintained.
• Handle client feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Prepare reports on catering sales, performance, and upcoming events.
• Identify opportunities to grow the restaurant’s catering business.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Catering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in catering, restaurant management, or event operations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety and service standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple events at once.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Creative, dependable, and confident when handling unexpected challenges.
