A busy restaurant is looking for an experienced and organized Catering Manager to lead catering operations and deliver exceptional food service experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating events, managing teams, building client relationships, and ensuring every catering function runs smoothly from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all catering events and functions
• Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and expectations
• Develop catering menus in collaboration with the kitchen team
• Manage catering staff schedules and event assignments
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards
• Ensure timely delivery, setup, and breakdown of catering services
• Control catering budgets, costs, and inventory levels
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally during events

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or a related field
• Previous experience in catering management, restaurant management, or event operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering best practices
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and basic office software
