A busy restaurant is seeking an experienced and highly organized Catering Manager to oversee catering operations and deliver exceptional food service for private functions, corporate events, and special occasions. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all catering events from enquiry to completion
• Meet with clients to understand event requirements, menus, budgets, and timelines
• Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Prepare event schedules, staffing plans, and operational checklists
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards during events
• Manage catering inventory, equipment, and event supplies
• Develop cost-effective catering packages while maintaining profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Prepare reports on catering performance, sales, and customer feedback

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar food service management role
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities
• Experience coordinating multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Good financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of food safety standards and catering best practices
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management or catering software is an advantage
