Catering Manager

We are looking for a Catering Manager to oversee daily catering operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure every event and service is executed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all catering operations for events and daily services.
• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise catering staff to maintain high performance.
• Work closely with kitchen teams to develop menus that meet client requirements and quality standards.
• Meet with clients to discuss event needs, budgets, and service expectations.
• Prepare catering proposals, quotations, and event plans.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service delivery throughout each event.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of catering supplies and equipment.
• Control operational costs while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate event logistics, including staffing, transportation, and equipment setup.
• Prepare reports on sales, budgets, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering operations, banquet services, or large scale food service.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering or event management software is an advantage.
