Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop and ensure smooth service
• Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve high performance
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise employees
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Control labour costs, waste, and operating expenses
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Handle cash management, tills, and end-of-day reconciliation
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a coffee shop, café, or food service operation
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Experience with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Good financial awareness, including budgeting and cost control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in point-of-sale and basic computer systems
