Cafe Assistant

Are you someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves the aroma of freshly brewed coffee? We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Cafe Assistant to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for every guest.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers with a warm and positive attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Prepare and serve drinks, snacks, and light meals
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and equipment
• Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory checks
• Support team members during busy service periods
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a cafe, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service role is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Basic cash handling and numeracy skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
