Cafe Assistant

Job Description

Step into a lively café environment where every cup served helps create a welcoming experience. We are looking for a friendly and energetic Café Assistant who enjoys working with people, keeps things running smoothly, and takes pride in great customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and serve customers in a warm, professional manner
• Take orders accurately and process payments
• Prepare and serve basic food and beverage items following café standards
• Keep the counter, dining area, and equipment clean and organized
• Restock supplies such as cups, milk, pastries, and condiments
• Assist baristas and kitchen staff during busy hours
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and focused
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and giving correct change
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take instruction
