We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher to join our restaurant kitchen team. Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone, portion, and prepare meat according to restaurant specifications.
• Inspect meat deliveries to ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage.
• Maintain attractive and organized meat preparation and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Label, rotate, and store products using first-in, first-out inventory practices.
• Minimize waste by maximizing product yield through efficient cutting techniques.
• Work closely with chefs to prepare specialty cuts and meet daily production needs.
• Operate and maintain butcher equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns promptly.
• Keep accurate records of inventory and product usage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a butcher in a restaurant, commercial kitchen, or similar food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, portion control, and preparation methods.
• Excellent knife handling skills and the ability to operate meat processing equipment safely.
• Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy products when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to minimizing waste.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
