Barback

A busy and energetic bar is looking for a dependable Barback who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys supporting a high-performing team. This role is essential to keeping bar operations running smoothly by ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver excellent service. Responsibilities

• Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
• Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully prepared for service.
• Wash and polish glassware while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Assist bartenders with setting up and closing the bar.
• Remove empty bottles, used glassware, and waste promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Receive and store deliveries according to established procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Support the team during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all health, safety, and workplace procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barback or in a fast-paced food and beverage environment is an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of bar operations and beverage service is beneficial.
