Job Description

A busy and welcoming café is looking for a dependable Barback to support smooth daily operations behind the counter. This role is perfect for someone energetic, observant, and ready to keep things moving so the bar team can focus on creating great drinks and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and café staff with day-to-day operations
• Refill stock including cups, syrups, ice, and beverage ingredients
• Collect, wash, and restock glassware and bar tools
• Keep the bar and service area clean, organized, and well-presented
• Support with receiving and arranging deliveries
• Monitor supply levels and report shortages early
• Assist during busy hours to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications

• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Physically active and able to stay on your feet for long periods
• Basic understanding of café or beverage operations is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and take direction quickly
• Attention to cleanliness and organization
