Key Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff before, during, and after events.
• Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown according to event requirements.
• Ensure banquet rooms and dining areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
• Brief team members on event schedules, menus, and service expectations.
• Monitor food and beverage service to maintain high quality standards.
• Liaise with the kitchen and management to ensure seamless event execution.
• Address guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with training, coaching, and evaluating banquet team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Supervisor or in a similar food and beverage supervisory role within a restaurant or event venue.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of banquet service procedures and event operations.
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and event coordination.
