Key Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff before, during, and after events.
• Coordinate room setup according to event specifications and guest requirements.
• Ensure food and beverage service meets hotel quality and presentation standards.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and assign duties to banquet team members.
• Monitor service throughout events and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Liaise with the kitchen, front office, and event planning teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in banquet facilities.
• Monitor inventory of banquet equipment, supplies, and linens.
• Assist with staff training and support continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising banquet, restaurant, or event service operations in a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize multiple events while maintaining high service standards.
• Knowledge of banquet setup styles, food service procedures, and event coordination.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Professional appearance with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications for scheduling and reporting is an advantage.
