Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems on the go, and creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager in keeping service standards high, motivating the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations
• Supervise front-of-house staff during service hours
• Help train, schedule, and motivate team members
• Ensure guests receive friendly and efficient service
• Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and service standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks
• Support cash handling and end-of-day reporting
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized in busy periods
• Good problem-solving and customer service abilities
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and POS systems
• Attention to detail and strong multitasking skills
