Job Description

A well-run hotel feels effortless to guests, but behind the scenes it takes strong leadership, attention to detail, and calm decision-making. We are looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager who can help keep operations smooth, teams motivated, and guests genuinely well cared for. This role works closely with the Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage coordination, and guest services. You will step in to resolve issues quickly, support staff performance, and ensure standards are consistently met across all departments. A big part of the job is creating a welcoming environment where both guests and team members feel valued.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall hotel operations and daily coordination of departments
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution
  • Supervise and support front-line staff to maintain service standards
  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
  • Monitor occupancy, bookings, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in busy situations
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of hotel management systems is an advantage
  • A guest-first mindset with a professional attitude
