Assistant Hotel Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a calm, capable, and people-focused Assistant Hotel Manager to help keep daily hotel operations running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading from the front, solving problems quickly, and keeping both staff and guests happy. You will work closely with the Hotel Manager to supervise departments, support team members, and ensure service standards remain consistently high.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Manager in daily operations and decision-making
• Supervise front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage teams
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
• Help coordinate staff schedules and shift planning
• Monitor service quality and ensure standards are met
• Assist in training and developing team members
• Oversee inventory and basic administrative reports

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues quickly
• Good organizational and multitasking ability
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Basic computer and reporting skills
