Accounts Manager

Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and support sound business decisions. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards of accuracy, and can lead accounting processes while working collaboratively with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Supervise payroll processing and related financial transactions.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
