We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of a busy coffee shop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with figures, improving processes, and supporting business growth through sound financial management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee petty cash management.
- Process payroll and ensure timely statutory remittances.
- Track inventory-related costs and support stock control processes.
- Assist management with financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
