Job Description

Our coffee shop is all about great coffee, friendly service, and creating a welcoming place where customers can enjoy every visit. We are looking for a Barista who brings energy, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in coffee to the team. If you enjoy working with people and can turn a simple coffee order into a great experience, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages to a consistent standard.
• Welcome customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely.
• Keep the coffee shop, counters, equipment, and service areas clean and organised.
• Handle payments accurately and assist with daily cash procedures.
• Restock coffee, milk, cups, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep service smooth during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness, presentation, and detail.
• A professional attitude, positive personality, and willingness to learn.
• Barista, food safety, or related training is an advantage.
