Training Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and people-focused Training Manager to help our restaurant team grow, learn, and perform at their best. If you enjoy turning everyday work into learning opportunities and can make training practical, engaging, and easy to understand, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging training programmes for restaurant employees.
• Identify training needs and create practical learning sessions.
• Organise onboarding and orientation programmes for new team members.
• Train employees on customer service, food safety, workplace procedures, and restaurant standards.
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
• Work with managers and supervisors to address performance and development needs.
• Maintain accurate training records and employee development plans.
• Keep training materials, guides, and procedures up to date.
• Encourage a positive learning culture across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in training, learning and development, restaurant operations, or a similar role.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering group sessions.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations and customer service standards.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office or similar workplace tools.
• Professional training or learning and development certification is an advantage.
• A friendly, adaptable personality with a genuine interest in helping people succeed.
