Training Manager

Job Description

Our hotel is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional service, strong teamwork, and continuous development. We are seeking a capable Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives across the hotel. The successful candidate will design effective training programmes, strengthen employee capabilities, and ensure colleagues consistently meet service and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programmes for hotel departments.
• Identify employee development needs through performance reviews, feedback, and operational assessments.
• Coordinate induction and onboarding programmes for new employees.
• Deliver engaging training sessions on service standards, workplace procedures, communication, and professional conduct.
• Work closely with department managers to establish role-specific learning objectives.
• Monitor training effectiveness and maintain accurate training records.
• Evaluate employee progress and recommend additional coaching where required.
• Keep training materials, manuals, and learning resources current.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the hotel.
• Ensure training activities support the hotel’s operational goals and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Learning and Development, Training, Human Resources, or a related discipline is an advantage.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in training, learning and development, or hotel operations.
• Previous experience designing and delivering employee training programmes.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
• Excellent presentation, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning or training platforms.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and managers at different levels.
