Job Description

We are seeking a professional and energetic Event Server to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in providing attentive service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events. Responsibilities

• Prepare event venues by setting up tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and service stations.
• Welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests throughout events.
• Clear tables and assist with post event clean up.
• Coordinate with kitchen, banquet, and event teams to ensure seamless service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well stocked work area.
• Assist with room resets for multiple events as required.
• Represent the hotel with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Event Server, Banquet Server, Food and Beverage Server, or in a similar role within a hotel or event venue is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry event equipment when necessary.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive work ethic.
