Event Server

Job Description

A restaurant is seeking a poised and attentive Event Server to support catered functions, private dining experiences, and high-volume service occasions. This role calls for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and can deliver seamless guest service while maintaining excellent coordination with kitchen and supervisory teams. You will be expected to set up event spaces according to floor plans, assist with table arrangements, and ensure all service stations are fully stocked before guest arrival. During events, you’ll serve food and beverages efficiently, respond promptly to guest needs, and maintain a polished, welcoming presence throughout. Post-event duties include clearing, resetting, and assisting with breakdown procedures to restore the venue to operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event areas and arrange seating, tableware, and service stations
• Serve food and drinks in line with event timelines and service standards
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth delivery of orders
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service periods
• Support post-event cleanup and reset activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality or banquet service preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude
• Basic understanding of food safety and service etiquette
