A lively, fast-paced bar environment is seeking a capable Assistant Bar Manager to support daily operations, team coordination, and guest satisfaction. This role blends hands-on service with leadership, ensuring smooth service flow and consistent quality behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in daily operational oversight
• Supervise bar staff and guide performance during shifts
• Ensure smooth beverage preparation and presentation standards
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage inventory rotation
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety compliance across the bar area
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift coordination
• Support cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-day reconciliation
• Contribute to improving service efficiency and guest experience

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in bar service, hospitality, or beverage operations
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Good understanding of bar products, mixology basics, and service flow
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure, high-volume settings
• Basic numeracy skills for stock and cash handling
• A proactive mindset with attention to detail and service quality
