A well-established hotel is looking for a courteous, attentive, and professional Telephone Operator to become part of our front office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, handling multiple tasks efficiently, and creating a positive first impression for every guest. Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide guests with accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and room availability.
• Transfer calls to the appropriate departments and team members.
• Take and relay messages accurately and promptly.
• Handle guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments for timely assistance.
• Monitor wake-up call requests and ensure they are completed as scheduled.
• Maintain clear communication with the front desk and other hotel departments.
• Respond calmly and professionally to emergency calls and follow established procedures.
• Keep telephone logs and communication records up to date.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Telephone Operator, Receptionist, Front Office Assistant, or in a similar customer service role within a hotel is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and a friendly speaking manner.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.
• Familiarity with hotel telephone systems or PBX systems is an advantage.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using office software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns professionally.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
