Table Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Table Attendant to join our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating positive dining experiences, maintaining excellent table standards, and providing professional service to guests. The successful candidate will help ensure every guest receives prompt, courteous, and memorable service from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange dining tables according to restaurant standards before service begins.
• Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide attentive table support.
• Deliver menus, refill beverages, and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas throughout service periods.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently while minimising disruption to guests.
• Support servers and restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate any concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and service procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Table Attendant, Server Assistant, Waiter Assistant, or similar restaurant role is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills with a polite and professional approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining organised and focused.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the restaurant team.
