Job Description

Join our restaurant team as a Table Attendant and help create an organised, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. You will support the smooth flow of table service by keeping dining areas clean, assisting servers, preparing tables, and responding promptly to guest needs. The ideal candidate is attentive, courteous, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and reset tables before, during, and after service.
• Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, and table supplies.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and cutlery efficiently.
• Keep dining areas, service stations, and surrounding spaces neat and organised.
• Replenish napkins, condiments, cutlery, and other table essentials.
• Respond politely to guest requests and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Support the restaurant team during busy service periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
• Handle dishes and restaurant equipment carefully.
• Report spills, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or customer service environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to support colleagues.
• Professional and courteous attitude towards guests.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
