Our busy cafe is looking for a well-organized and dependable Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the smooth flow of supplies needed for daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate stock records, keeping storage areas organized, and supporting the team by ensuring essential items are always available. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food, beverages, and other supplies.
• Organize and store stock safely while following proper storage procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and report items that require replenishment.
• Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems or manual logs.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Issue supplies to relevant departments while keeping accurate records.
• Ensure storage areas remain clean, secure, and well organized.
• Check product quality and monitor expiry dates to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management regarding deliveries and stock availability.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar stock control role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare inventory reports.
• Familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move stock safely when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
