Sound Technician

Job Description

A lively bar is looking for a skilled and detail-focused Sound Technician to manage and maintain high-quality audio experiences for live performances, DJs, and everyday entertainment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced nightlife environment and has a sharp ear for sound balance and technical precision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor sound systems for live music, DJs, and events
• Adjust audio levels, mixing, and equalization for clear and balanced output
• Conduct routine checks on microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and mixers
• Troubleshoot sound issues quickly during performances
• Collaborate with DJs, performers, and event coordinators to meet audio needs
• Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and secured after use
• Support smooth audio transitions during busy service hours and events

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sound engineering, audio technology, or live event production
• Strong understanding of mixing consoles, microphones, and PA systems
• Ability to work under pressure in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic troubleshooting and technical problem-solving ability
