Security Officer

Job Description

A busy, welcoming restaurant is looking for a calm, alert, and dependable Security Officer to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This role is all about presence, observation, and quick response when needed. You will be the quiet backbone of safety on-site, ensuring operations run smoothly without disruption while keeping a friendly, professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure safety and order
• Conduct routine patrols within and around the restaurant premises
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents or disturbances
• Assist in managing crowd flow during busy hours or events
• Support staff and management in maintaining a secure environment
• Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns immediately
• Ensure compliance with basic safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications

• Strong sense of responsibility and alertness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Physically fit and able to stand or move for extended periods
• Prior experience in security or hospitality safety is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of conflict handling and de-escalation
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
