Room Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment for every guest. Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to the hotel’s quality standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, well-presented, and fully equipped.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing supplies promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts with linen, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
• Respond to guest requests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness procedures at all times.
• Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Support fellow housekeeping team members to ensure daily room targets are achieved.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or in a similar cleaning role is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of housekeeping equipment is an added advantage.
