Restaurant Operations Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Restaurant Operations Coordinator to support the day to day operations of a busy restaurant. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys coordinating teams, and is committed to maintaining high operational standards. The successful candidate will work closely with management and staff to ensure smooth service, efficient processes, and an excellent dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Support management with scheduling, shift planning, and staff coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Track operational performance and prepare routine reports.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate complex matters when necessary.
• Assist in implementing standard operating procedures and service improvements.
• Coordinate communication between front of house and kitchen teams.
• Monitor guest feedback and support initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Help oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support the onboarding and ongoing training of new team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant operations, food service coordination, or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management or point of sale systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
