Restaurant Operations Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a Restaurant Operations Coordinator to support the daily coordination of restaurant activities, ensuring efficient operations, exceptional guest experiences, and seamless communication between departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Support managers with scheduling, shift planning, and operational logistics.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with suppliers.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Track operational performance and prepare routine reports.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on equipment repairs.
• Work closely with kitchen, service, and administrative teams to resolve operational issues.
• Assist with onboarding and coordinating training activities for new team members.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain organised operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant operations, food service coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management or POS systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control and operational reporting.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
