Job Description

We are seeking a Restaurant Business & Operations Strategist to lead initiatives that improve efficiency, increase profitability, strengthen customer satisfaction, and support sustainable growth. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who combines analytical expertise with practical operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies that support revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across restaurant operations.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve service quality, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
• Design and optimise operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead business improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation initiatives.
• Evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
• Coach and guide management teams on best practices in operations and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in project management, business analysis, operations management, or strategic planning are an advantage.
• Proven experience in restaurant operations, business strategy, management consulting, or operational leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and organisational improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and business intelligence or data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering measurable business results and operational excellence.
