Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate restaurant reservations, private dining bookings, and banquet events from enquiry to completion.
• Liaise with guests to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Work closely with the kitchen, restaurant, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Prepare banquet event orders and communicate event details to relevant departments.
• Monitor event timelines and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure banquet rooms and dining areas are properly prepared before each event.
• Assist with menu planning and recommend suitable dining packages to guests.
• Maintain accurate booking records, contracts, and event documentation.
• Support revenue growth by promoting restaurant and banquet services.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and implement service improvements.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and event performance summaries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience coordinating restaurant operations, banquets, catering, or events is preferred.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple events while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation or event management systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and banquet service standards is an added advantage.
