Reservations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and guest-focused Reservations Supervisor to oversee reservation operations in our restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating smooth dining experiences, managing booking systems, and supporting the team in delivering excellent service from the first point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily reservation activities, including bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and guest inquiries.
• Manage reservation systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date guest information.
• Coordinate with restaurant teams to ensure effective table planning and smooth guest flow.
• Handle special requests, private dining arrangements, and guest preferences with professionalism.
• Monitor reservation trends and provide reports to support operational decisions.
• Train and guide reservation staff on service standards and booking procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining a positive restaurant experience.
• Support the front-of-house team during busy periods to improve service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in reservations, guest services, or restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems and table management procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise multiple bookings while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Good problem-solving abilities and confidence handling guest requests.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
