Public Area Attendant

Job Description

A welcoming hotel environment starts with clean, well-maintained public spaces, and we are looking for a dedicated Public Area Attendant to help create a positive experience for every guest. Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, meeting rooms, and other public areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to hotel standards.
• Replenish restroom supplies and ensure facilities remain presentable throughout the day.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in indoor and outdoor guest areas.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the appropriate department.
• Assist guests with basic requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hotel cleaning is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout a shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
